This is a tool that transforms your life journey into a unique celestial signature, your Spira Vitae.
The Spiral of Life

Before there was time, there was turning.
Before there was form, there was flame.
And from beyond the veil of stillness came a question:
Are you ready to experience mortality?
…Yes.
I. DESCENDERE — The Descent
From the Latin descendere
de- (down) + scandere (to climb)
To descend is not to fall.
It is to climb down with intention.
In the song, the immortal speaks:
“From beyond the time I rise,
An immortal in disguise.”
Descent is incarnation.
The divine choosing density.
The eternal stepping into sequence.
Birth is not an accident.
It is a voluntary narrowing.
The infinite becomes a point.
The spiral begins.
II. SCANDERE — The Ascent Within Form
Though the soul has descended, it does not remain still.
From the Latin scandere — to climb.
The mortal climbs through matter.
Through joy and pain.
Through shadow and light.
“Scandere — I rise up through form and light.”
Life is not static existence.
It is ascent inside limitation.
The body ages.
The spirit grows.
III. VERTERE — The Turning
From Latin vertere — to turn.
From this root we inherit the word universe, that which has been turned into one.
The Earth turns.
The Moon turns.
The Sun is circled.
Day by day the planet rotates.
Year by year it completes its orbit.
And within this cosmic machinery, a single human life turns with it.
“Day by day the planet turns,
Year by year the sun returns.”
Every step bends geometry.
Every journey leaves curvature in space.
Your life is not a line.
It is a spiral traced upon a rotating world.
This is what Spira Vitae reveals.
It transforms your descent, your rotations, your orbits, your journeys
into a visible celestial signature.
A form no other life can produce.
IV. REVERTERE — The Return
From the Latin re- (again) + vertere (to turn).
To return is not to undo.
It is to complete the turning.
The mortal body slows.
The rotations accumulate.
The orbits complete.
And the spiral bends inward.
“Revertere — Now the time comes to return.”
Return is not an ending.
It is reintegration.
The point expands again into the infinite.
The descent finds its origin.
What the Spiral Records
Each Life Signature captures two dimensions of the myth:
The Turning Points
Every move, every journey, every moment of change is marked.
For each moment, the spiral records:
- The number of Earth rotations since Descent (these are the days)
- The number of completed solar orbits (these are the years)
- The distance in Kilometers from the place of origin
Not dates.
Motion.
The Arc of the Whole
The name tag carries the total story:
- Moon phase at Descent
- Total rotations witnessed
- Total orbits completed
- Astronomical Units traveled around the Sun
- Total new moons seen
- Moon phase at Return
A life described as accumulated turning.
From Light to Metal

The spiral begins as data.
But it does not have to remain light on a screen.
It can be engraved,
cut into stainless steel,
preserved as orbit,
held in the hand.
A record of motion.
A geometry made permanent.
Spira Vitae
We descend.
We ascend.
We spiral.
We return.
Descendere.
Scandere.
Vertere.
Revertere.
The spiral is written in the sky.
Now it can be written in metal.
Spira Vitae.
Scientific Reflection
Is Anything Left Behind?
As the Earth rotates and orbits the Sun, it traces a continuous path through space.
Combined with the Sun’s motion through the galaxy, that path forms a vast helix through spacetime.
Nothing visible remains along it.
Space does not hold footprints.
If one could travel to where Earth once was, there would be no glowing spiral suspended in the vacuum. The planet and everything upon it move together. The past does not linger like a physical thread.
And yet, physics reveals something deeper.
Every moment of a life is recorded in light.
Photons reflect from the body and travel outward at the speed of light. Heat radiates. Electromagnetic waves disperse. Information expands into the cosmos.
Light does not move instantly. It has a finite speed.
To look across distance is to look back in time.
When we observe the Sun, we see it as it was eight minutes ago.
When we observe distant galaxies, we see them millions or billions of years in the past.
If one could stand far enough from Earth and turn back with a powerful telescope, one would not see the present moment. One would see the Earth as it once was — its past carried outward in light.
In that sense, the universe already contains the images of every life.
Not stored.
Not archived.
But radiating.
In relativity, every being traces a worldline, a continuous curve through spacetime. That curve is not erased. It becomes part of the geometry of the universe.
Spira Vitae does not claim that a visible spiral floats behind the Earth.
It transforms the real motion of rotations and orbits into form.
A symbolic compression of a life’s worldline.
And when engraved, that form is fixed using light.
Each Spira Vitae amulet is created by concentrating light into metal, a fiber laser burning geometry into steel.
Light once carried your image into the cosmos.
Light now inscribes your motion into permanence.
Not a footprint in space.
But a trace in spacetime fixed by light.
